About Us
Here at Blackberries Patisserie we are a family run team.
After a successful career in patisserie in many hotels all over the world, Sam always dreamt of having her own business after having her two daughters. Launching Blackberries Patisserie has allowed Sam to still be creative with her desserts alongside her daughter Steph who creates beautiful bespoke cakes for weddings and special celebrations.
At Blackberries Patisserie we only use the highest quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure your desserts, special occasion and wedding cakes taste as good as they look. Where possible we use locally sourced seasonal produce and support many other small like minded family businesses.
At the end of 2023, we got nominated by our customers for the England’s Business Awards and subsequently won the category for Best Dessert Shop 2024 in the North East alongside being a regional finalist for TWIA 2025 Wedding Cake Designer of the year. This helps us aspire to our dreams of growing as a business to always strive for the best.
