How much will my wedding cake cost?

Unfortunately, there is no straight forward answer to this. All wedding cake costs can
vary depending on a number of factors such as the wedding date, complexity of design and size. Delivery is additional and this depends on the venue location.
Each cake designer will charge differently based on level of experience, ingredient types used and overheads. More simple styles such as a semi naked buttercream finish will be significantly cheaper than a fondant iced cake design. Depending on final factors, our cakes can range anywhere from £300-£900 or more.
On your initial enquiry I will guide with estimated prices. This will give you a good idea to what your cake will cost. It is important to mention at this stage if you have a specific budget so we can advise of ways to which we can work within this.

All accurate quotes will be given during your consultation.

Peak season (May – September), are more popular dates and these will book up
quickly. Wedding dates between these months tend to be booked up with over a year
in advance. There is a shorter lead time for dates outside of wedding season.
However, I would always recommend at least 12-18 months in advance, to avoid
disappointment.

To secure your wedding date we require a £50 non refundable deposit. Until this is received your date will not be secure in the diary. The remaining balance is due one month prior to your wedding date.

If you are not intending to serve your wedding cake as a dessert, I would recommend that you don’t need to serve all of your guests a portion, just majority. If this is the case, we tend to recommend 75% of your total night numbers. But you can never have enough cake, can you!

We are based in the North East of England and regularly deliver across this region.
We can deliver nationwide, this will just reflect in the delivery cost.

I do allow collection on single tier cakes but any bigger does require delivery as the
cakes will be assembled at the venue.
I do advise against collection as this added stress isn’t needed on your wedding day.
If a cake is collected, we hold no responsibility for the cake once this has left our premises.

Yes! Our taster boxes contain 6 of most popular flavours on our menu. These are £20 per box and are available to order on select dates throughout the year. These
can be posted at an additional cost.

No. If large tiered cakes aren’t your style, that’s perfectly fine! We have so many options what we cater to from single tier cakes, favours and dessert tables. These
can all be bespoke tailored to suit your requirements.

Absolutely yes! To our surprise, most of my couples are shocked to learn they can
have different flavours for each tier. Of course, if you are keen to have one flavour throughout, you absolutely can. I recommend choosing different varieties giving your guests a few flavours to choose from.
